The Marsh Collection Overview:
The Marsh is a collection of mixed media pieces that explores the infinite colour possibilities that can be achieved from foraged plants in a specific regional area. All of the colour you see in The Marsh collection was extracted from handpicked plant matter collected around Miners Marsh in Kentville, Nova Scotia in the late summer and fall of 2022.

Name Origin:
During late summer, the curly dock plant is so fragile that it crumbles at the slightest touch. This inspired the creation of "Brittle," using an eco-dyeing method that involves crumbling pieces of the curly dock plant to create the organic-looking imprint.
